Theodore Roosevelt National Park Replace 2 HVAC Systems This is a request for quotation. The resulting contract is expected to be a firm fixed price construction contract. Project Description: For each house, removal of existing furnace (1), sheet metal chimney (1) and flue passage (1). Patching of existing roofing penetration (1) to include sheathing, underlayment and shingles for a water-tight seal and subsequent installation of new (NONCONCENTRIC) PVC Flue and Intake pipes with weather boots. For each house, installation of the approximately 40 feet of new Insulated truncated Sheetmetal duct, (13) insulated flexible takeoffs w/ registers & insulated register boxes. One (1) government furnished Carrier Condensing Gas Furnace, Carrier AC Condenser, and Thermostat. Abandonment of existing in-floor deteriorating supply duct plenums per attached drawings and capping with a keyed concrete housekeeping pad in each building (NPS will seal abandoned registers). Contractor shall furnish all incidentals including Condenser Pads, Flexible Ductwork, Sheetmetal duct fabrication, insulation, electrical wiring, devices, and supplies. Materials including insulated refrigerant piping and insulation, labor and sundries to Continued complete patching and finishing in addition to all supervision, labor, tools, licensing, knowledge, and skills to successfully deliver the operational finished project.
