Site work for a water / sewer project in Canfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

*This project was awarded to HydroBlox Techologies, Inc.* Questions Deadline: 5/1/2023 01:00 PM (ET) Please submit your cost for removing and recycling the 3 tanks shown in the attached photos. Each tank is approximately 172" tall, with 6000 gallon capacity. Quotes are being requested for removal and recycling, of failed or retired above ground liquid storage tanks. The tanks have been removed from service, and material recycling options are being considered as an alternative to landfill disposal. The tanks have been used to store liquid deicing materials such as sodium chloride brine, calcium chloride, and other winter deicing blends including magnesium chloride, agricultural by products, and many trade name products/blends such as Apex C, Beet Heet, Liquid Dow, etc... Tanks are constructed of high density linear polyethylene, rated for specific gravity of 1.9, with UV stabilizers, natural white in color. Please submit your cost for removing and recycling the 3 tanks shown in the attached photos. Each tank is approximately 172" tall, with 6000 gallon capacity. Quotes submitted will be considered for award based on the lowest cost to the Ohio Department of Transportation. Any salvage value from the tank material may be retained by the bidder, but should be considered in the quoted price, to offset all or a portion of the removal cost. In the event the material salvage value exceeds the removal cost, award will be based on the highest revenue to be paid to ODOT. ODOT reserves the right to reject all bids if other ODOT means for disposal (e.g., landfill) are a lower cost to the department. Tanks shall be removed within 14 calendar days, once ODOT provides notice to proceed. Tanks must be picked up from the ODOT Mahoning County maintenance facility at 401 West Main Street, Canfield, OH 44406, between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:00 pm. Bidder is responsible for all hauling costs, and any hauling permits that may be required. If the bidder chooses to cut the tanks down in size prior to hauling, the bidder is responsible for any equipment or personnel for such dismantling
