Work consists of installing a 60 solid wall HDPE Pipe Liner into the existing 7 Mile Run 84 CMP Culvert. Work shall include all cleaning, blocking and grouting to complete the installation. The Engineer s Estimate is $350,000.00 For all bids in excess of $50,000.00 , a certified check representing TEN percent (10%) of the proposal, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to the Mahoning County Treasurer, or a bid bond in the sum of TEN percent (10%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each and every proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Board of County Commissioners, in the manner provided by law. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract. However, if the item bid is available for immediate delivery and specified as such in the bid, a performance bond will not then be required. No bids may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the opening thereof PRE-BID QUESTIONS: Submit all Pre-Bid Questions in writing via the County's email at ContractorPre-BidOuestions@mahoningcountyoh.gov. All questions must be submitted prior to the deadline of 3:00 PM, five (5) working days prior to the public opening of Bids. The County will respond by email to all questions prior to the public opening of Bids. Responses to Pre-Bid Questions are not revisions to the Bidding Documents and are not binding. The County is not obligated to respond to, or otherwise act upon, a Pre-Bid Question submitted after this deadline, but reserves the right to act upon any information received.
