The Project consists of the construction of a photovoltaic system to supplement the full energy needs of Woodstock North High School Work under this Contract includes: Sitework: 1) Site restoration as required to accommodate new construction Structure: 1) Delegated design of foundation systems as required for solar array systems. Exterior concrete pads. Electrical Systems: 1) Photovoltaic panels, inverters, racking, metering, DC conductors, labeling, and associated programming. 2) Electrical switchboard modifications, distribution switchboards/panelboards, transformers, service metering, conduit, and conductors. 3) Low voltage work to include: Fiber optic cabling, media converters, connections and terminations, CAT6 cabling, and patch panels. Woodstock Schools (hereinafter the "OWNER") is accepting proposals for a Design/Build Contract for the installation of approximately 2200 kW of solar photo-voltaic (PV) facilities and associated control systems at Woodstock North High School which will service the general electrical loads of the school. The work is inclusive of design, permitting, construction, utility interconnection, owner provided commissioning, and operations and maintenance training. The project address is 3000 Raffel Rd, Woodstock, IL 60098. The goal of the PV system installation is to make the high school a "NET ZERO" building. The electrical loads for the existing electrical services (monthly peak demand, and monthly kWh usage) are shown in Tables A and B below. It is anticipated that approximately 30% of the solar production will be provided to the electrical service monitored by meter 230213906 (the NORTH SERVICE), and approximately 70% of the solar production will be connected to the electrical service monitored by meter 230213908 (the SOUTH SERVICE). The other two electrical services at the high school do not have sufficient load to warrant a connection.
