Site work and new construction of a library in Sharon, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 29,536-square-foot library; and for site work for a library.
Project consists of the new construction of the Sharon Public Library (approx. 29,462 gsf) and complete site work. Construction is steel framed, two-story with basement, fiber-cement siding, wood windows, asphalt shingle and membrane roofs. Systems include traction elevator, full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology and security, and fire protection systems. The scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, all related site work, hardscape/landscape, underground utilities, parking and on-site services, roadways, foundations, structural steel, building envelope, interior finishes, and mechanical systems. The Project will be required to meet all the Owners requirements to achieve the specified target to receive a Silver LEED Certification. The Project consists of the following: Construction of a new 29,536 sq ft Public Library in Sharon, MA. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. This project is being electronically bid by prequalified bidders ONLY.
