Site work and renovation of a civil project in Manila, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project includes rehabilitating and upgrading two existing water treatment plants. One plant is located at the Greendale water system. The other is located at the Ross Springs water system. Each of the existing plants treat groundwater under the direct influence of surface water (GUDI) from spring sources using a coagulation, flocculation, clarification, filtration and disinfection process. The Ross Springs plant uses hydraulic flocculation. The existing water treatment housings (compartments where the treatment process occurs) will remain. For each plant, the work includes removing the majority of the existing components and installing a new automatic control system, sensors, piping, fittings, valves, gauges, backflow preventers, chlorinators, pumps and other appurtenances. Quantities associated with these options are identified in the Schedule of Items. The estimated dollar value of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
