Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Melbourne, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves relocation of an existing submersible lift station N-07 to the south and consists of conversion of existing wet well into a manhole, construction of a new 6 diameter submersible lift station as shown on the contract drawings including new pumps, valves, fittings, valve pad, electrical SCADA panels, 12-foot wide driveway and fence with slide gate; construction of 456+/- L.F. of new 8 inch gravity sewer, with five new manholes and connecting to the new lift station; construction of 180+/- L.F. of a new 4 inch PVC force main and connection to the existing force main; abandonment by grouting 388+/- L.F. of existing gravity sewer and 280+/- L.F. of existing 4 inch force main to the north of the connection location; demolition and removal/ salvaging of existing pumps, appurtenances from the existing wet well and valve box, electrical panels and antenna; and rehabilitation of one manhole; construction of approx. 80 L.F. FDOT Index 400-011 gravity retaining wall; restoration of existing sidewalk and dirt cart path to the original conditions or better.
