The Contractor(s) will supply all components necessary (paint to be selected by Roanoke City Public Schools) to provide turn-key painting services as follows: Contractor(s) will be responsible for patching, plastering, and prep work prior to painting. Contractor(s) will use only paint which is provided by the Owner. Contractor(s) will apply one coat of primer and two finish coats. The Contractor(s) will contact the Project Manager after the primer coat is applied in all areas for inspection before the finish coat work is begun. At no point will latex be applied over oil-based paint. Contractor(s) will remove all light switch and receptacle covers and replace them after the finish coat is applied. Contractor(s) will remove and replace furniture as needed to complete the painting process. Contractor(s) must cover all flooring with drop cloths or plastic to protect flooring and carpet. Contractor(s) is responsible for all materials required to complete the work. The Contractor(s) shall provide services as described in a written Work Order/Purchase Order to be issued by the Owner's Office of Operations or in accordance with an approved maintenance agreement to make repairs or maintenance as identified.
