Site work and asbestos abatement for a transportation facility in Swan Lake, New York. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The scope of this project is to conduct asbestos abatement on areas as specified in the Pre-Demolition Hazardous Materials Survey (Appendix A). The survey identified four (4) ACM and one (1) PACM that would be impacted by the pending demolition of these two buildings. The ACM include: approximately 33 linear feet of White Hard Pack Pipe Fitting Insulation (on fiberglass lines); approximately 950 square feet of 12" x 12" Off-White w/Gray Streaks Floor Tile; approximately 925 square feet of Black Adhesive from Wood Paneling; and approximately 500 square feet of Black Hot Mop from Perimeter Wall Flashing (roofing). Additionally, there is approximately 2 square feet of PACM in an intact Roof Drain Bowl above the restrooms. Notices of intent to commence asbestos abatement activities shall be provided to the United State Environmental Protection Agency and the New York State Department of Labor by the Contractor, as required by these regulatory agencies.
