Permits: The contractor will obtain and include in the bid Demolition: Remove old shingles, underlayment down to roof decking, and existing drip metals. Roof Decking: Inspect for water damage, and include a unit price per square foot for removal and replacement of damaged decking. Roof Package: Shall include the installation of the following: synthetic felt paper to be installed over roof decking 29-gauge agricultural ribbed steel- color brown Roofing steel must extend past eve at least 1 inch Gable raker end trim- same color as roof Ridge shall be vented with Profile ridge vent foam or equivalent to allow air flow and prevent snow from blowing under.
