St. Ignace Area Schools is seeking bids for lawn moving and snow removal for the 2023-2024 school year. Lawn Mowing: All school properties including the high school, elementary/middle school, baseball/softball fields, track area, practice fields located at the school complex on 429 Portage Road, the football field located on 166 Chambers Street, and the transportation garage located on 906 West US2 will need to be cut on an as needed basis depending on weather and growing conditions from May-October. This includes the trim around all buildings and fences inside and out at all locations. The football field will need to be cut on a weekly basis regardless of growing conditions. Snow Plowing: School properties including the high school and elementary/middle school located on 429 Portage and the transportation garage located on 906 West US2 will need snow plowing on an as needed basis depending on weather conditions throughout the school year. Snow plowing areas include all parking lots, sidewalks, and fire access lanes within the school properties listed. Bids may be for the 2023-2024 school year, the 2023-2025 school years, or the 2023-2026 school years. Bids must be for a flat rate amount and not an hourly amount.
