1. Evaluate the available Fayetteville Public Works Commission information on the existing downstream force main capacity and how that would impact the hydraulics of the upgraded Lift Station #29. 2. Perform the necessary field survey for the lift station site to include locating visible existing utilities and marked utilities by the service provider. 3. Perform partial property surveys necessary to prepare an easement map and legal description for the proposed lift station site and tie in with the existing force main. 4. Map the field obtained survey information of the proposed lift station site. 5. Prepare easement maps and legal descriptions for easement acquisition. 6. Prepare plans, specifications and contract documents suitable for bidding and regulatory approval. 7. Solicit the services of an Electrical Engineer to assist with the design of the lift station control panels, lift station telemetry system and standby generator. 8. Prepare and submit for approval encroachment maps to applicable agencies. 9. Prepare and submit applications for Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Permit and Fayetteville Public Commission Sanitary Sewer Permit for approval. 10. Assist The City of Fayetteville with managing the competitive bidding process to include Contract Document distribution, attending pre-bid conferences, providing meeting minutes, issuing addenda's and RFI's and certifying the bid tabulation summary. 11. Provide construction administration services to include material submittal reviews, issuing change orders, review of Contractor's pay applications, attend pre-construction conference, conduct periodic progress meetings and provide meeting minutes, etc. 12. Provide normal and customary construction staking and preparation of cut sheets for the Contractor. 13. Perform construction observation as necessary to provide certification as required by NCDEQ and Fayetteville Public Works Commission. 14. Perform the necessary field survey and prepare a set of record drawings indicating changes made during construction based on the marked up prints and other data furnished by the Contractor and Fayetteville Public Works Commission’s Project Coordinator.
