The Scope of Work and Specifications are located in the drawing attached below.
SUMMARY OF CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Excavate to expose the existing RCP pipe. Contractor shall take care not to damage the
existing RCP Pipe..
2. Remove the existing sidewalk, haul off, and dispose of legally offsite. At contractor's option,
tunnel under the existing sidewalk without damaging it to facilitate the installation of a new
drain line under the existing sidewalk.
3. Install new catch basin, PVC drain line, flexible connector lateral drain line and connect to
existing RCP pipe with insera tee lateral connection per plan.
4. Backfill and restore the site to match the existing conditions. Replace the sidewalk as
necessary.
1. Once removed, the Contractor will install fill dirt in all affected areas, including
areas disturbed by any necessary machinery and vehicles for the repair of the
drainage area and surfaces.
a. Fill dirt must be compacted to reduce settling, causing future drainage
issues.
2. Contractor will install sod grass in all areas affected by the repair of the drainage
area and surfaces.
a. Grass shall be a drought-tolerant blend (Bermuda, Princess, Riviera, or
Black Jack; variety will be identified prior to installation)
