This project includes conducting a sign inventory of approximately 8,000 signs. Deliverables include GIS data documenting the conditions of the sign and recommendation of replacement program for council consideration.The inventory of the signs were completed in November 2021, and next deliverable is to check the reflectivity of the signs. It is estimated about 20% of the City's signs do not meet MUTCD requirement and would need to be replaced. In addition, typical life cycle of traffic signs are 10 years. Therefore the increased budget reflects cost to replace all signs within 10 years. This is an ongoing project and will be reappropriated each year as needed. Project is included in the City of Eastvale's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 30, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated from FY 2023 to FY 2027.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
