The Region, as lead agency on behalf of itself and the participating agencies of the York Purchasing Co-operative (YPC) (Participating Agencies) is inviting Bids from qualified Bidders to provide winter sand supply services, including but not limited to the supply and delivery of screened sand, at a fixed unit price per tonne, to be utilized by the Region and the Participating Agencies for winter road maintenance purposes as further set out in Appendix A - RFT Particulars (the Deliverables). In addition to the Region, the following members of the YPC are Participating Agencies in the RFT: Town of Aurora Town of East Gwillimbury Township of King Town of Newmarket City of Richmond Hill City of Vaughan Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Duration in months: 36 All Bids shall be accompanied by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer in the amount of $150,000.00 to act as security for the satisfaction of the Region.
