Project Description: The work of this project entails the selective demolition, removal, and replacement of damaged elements as received during Hurricanes Laure and Delta. The site is currently a recreation facility in Jennings, Louisiana. This project involves miscellaneous work associated with building and site elements. Minor electrical or lighting related work is included. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or Bid Bond using the Owners form payable to the City of Jennings, the amount of which shall be five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposed Base Bid plus all Alternates. Money Orders will not be accepted. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days. Work is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $350.00 (Three Hundred Fifty Dollars and NO Cents) per day. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and written in accordance with Louisiana law.
