HVAC Package B - Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems replacement project at Hillside Pre-School, Martin Elementary School, Spruce Elementary School and Parkway Heights Middle School. The Project consists of: Demolition of existing mechanical units and components, minor associated demolition of existing building elements including identified hazardous materials abatement, preparation of existing buildings and site areas to receive new equipment, installation of new HVAC equipment and all components for a complete and operating system including mechanical equipment--furnaces, heat vent units, condensing units, heat pumps, ducts, cassettes, refrigerant lines, and controls. Electrical work including minor electrical demolition, new electrical connections as required for new equipment. Associated site work including minor excavation, limited concrete and ac paving for utility pads, and limited retaining walls. Associated work including building finish repairs, painting and cleanup. Locations- Hillside Children's Center - 1400 Hillside BlvdSouth San Francisco, CA 94080 Martin ES - 35 SCHOOL STREET, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94080 Parkway Heights MS - 650 SUNSET AVE, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94080 Spruce - 501 SPRUCE AVE, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94080 A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier s check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the South San Francisco Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid Hillside Children's Center Classroom Building a. Classrooms (8): Abandon the existing furnace in attic and provide new condensing type gas furnace in the corner of the classroom. b. Add new supply ductwork, louvers, flues and controls for complete system. c. Associated electrical and structural design. Martin ES 1. Building A (Classroom Building) A. Classrooms (8): replace furnace with new furnace and spiral ductwork. B. Offices: Mini-split heat pump. C. Associated electrical and structural design. 2. Building E (Admin Building) A. VRF heat pump system consisting of grade mounted heat recovery type outdoor VRF heat pump, and wall mounted indoor VRF fan coils. B. Associated electrical and structural design. 3. Building G (Multipurpose / Gymnasium Building) A. Replace indoor AHU with new in-kind. B. Extend the BMS to the MPR. C. Reuse the existing air distribution system. D. Associated electrical and structural design. 4. Buildings B,C, D,F (Classroom Buildings) A. Provide 24V damper actuators to existing wall-mounted gravity relief louvers. Typical of (11) actuators. B. Interlock dampers with existing furnace control at each classroom. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): B License.
