**As of June 16, 2023, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** The Project limits reside within both the City of Whittier and Caltrans right-of-way. Contractor is required to pull permits from Caltrans, Los Angeles County Public Works, the City of Whittier Public Works Department (no-fee permit), and the City of Whittier Building Department (no-fee permit). The Project will include re-alignment of Whittier Boulevard, reconstruction of curb ramps, passageways, driveways, and sidewalks adhering to Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards, median reconstruction, street widening, drainage modifications, asphalt concrete pavement, installation of a retaining wall between the Greenway Trail Pedestrian overcrossing and bridge abutment to allow improved line-of-sight, traffic signal modifications, street lighting modifications, and signing and striping at the intersection.
