Contractor shall perform all work and furnish all tools, materials, supplies, equipment, labor and other items incidental thereto necessary for the construction and completion of the work, more particularly described as the 2023 Pavement Maintenance project. The Project includes, without limitation, constructing pavement maintenance including planing, paving, pavement repair and resurfacing, crack sealing, channelization, storm water retrofits, and pedestrian improvements (sidewalk repair and ADA retrofits), clean-up and other work; as shown on the Plans and as described in these Specifications, all in accordance with the Contract Documents ("Work"). Cost estimate range: $3,700,000 - $4,100,000 Any questions regarding work description or the explanation or interpretation of the bid documents must be directed to Joseph Norman, Engineer III, in writing at 555 Israel Road SW, Tumwater, Washington 98501 or via email at jnorman@ci.tumwater.wa.us with the email subject line 2023 Pavement Maintenance Bid a minimum of 48 hours prior to bid opening. The City of Tumwater reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or any portion of any bid, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid or in the bidding, and determine which bid or bidder meets the criteria set forth in the bid documents. The City shall reserve the right to reject single items or combinations of bid items. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
