Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a military facility in Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; for the construction of a 407,750-square-foot military facility; and for paving for a military facility.

Construction projects to be performed under this MACC will primarily consist of general building type projects and may be either design-bid-build or design-build. General construction of DB and DBB projects include, but are not limited to, new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings, systems and infrastructure and may include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and communication systems. Types of facilities include administrative, industrial, maintenance, warehouses, hangars, communications, personnel support, recreation, lodging, dormitory, medical, training, ranges, roads, etc. in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Washington Area of Responsibility (AOR). The initial (seed project) to be awarded as the first task order along with the basic contract will be P3002 Hazardous Cargo Pad, Joint Base Andrews. The project constructs an aircraft hazardous cargo pad (approx. 80,550 SF), a 75- foot wide concrete taxiway (approx. 159,005 SF), asphalt taxiway shoulders (approx. 159,075 SF), an EOD Proficiency Range that includes a 1,120 SF area for a detonation bunker and 260 SF concrete protection bunker. The P3002 Hazardous Cargo Pad will be located at the Joint Base Andrews. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
