**As of June 26, 2023, project was awarded to Golden Bay Construction, Inc, awarded amount is $465,269.50.** The project proposes to install bulb-outs; upgrade curb access ramps to meet current American with Disabilities (ADA) standards and install bicycle lanes and routes. The project's general design includes minor concrete work; new sidewalk, ramps, curb and gutter installation, utility box adjustments; installation of signage, sniping and thermoplastic markings; installation of pedestrian amenities, such as upgraded push buttons and trash receptacles. The proposed work will also install a new pedestrian crossing across Junipero Serra Boulevard at Washington Street on the east side of the intersection which includes traffic signal modifications and installation of pedestrian push buttons. This project is federally funded, making the Buy America provisions applicable. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, certified or cashier's check payable to City of Daly City, in an amount not less than 10% of the aggregate bid. The time limit for the completion of work is seventy (70) working days. The first day of this time period will be no later than the 28th calendar day after the contract award or within fifteen (15) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The project has a goal of 11% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. If the DBE Commitment form (Section 00496 of these Contract Documents) is not submitted with the bid, all bidders must complete and submit the DBE Commitment form to the City no later than 4:00 p.m. on the 41° business day after bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in such bids and, if awarded, to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
