**As of July 26, 2023, project was awarded to Souza Engineering Contracting, awarded amount is 5,808,262.50.** In general, the project consists of new ADA curb ramps at existing street corners and pavement removal and replacement on street segments of Monterey, California, Johnson, Santa Barbara, Orcutt, La Loma, Morro, and Palm. The City of San Luis Obispo reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any informality in a bid. The fixed liquidated damages amount is established at $1,000 per day for failure to complete the work within the contract time. 1. certified check 2. cashier's check 3. bidder's bond made payable to the City of San Luis Obispo for an amount equal to ten percent of the bid amount as a guaranty. Guaranty will be forfeited to the City San Luis Obispo if the bidder, to whom the contract is awarded, fails to enter into the contract.
