This project includes the following general construction: installation of approximately 419 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer, 25 LF of 6-inch PVC sanitary sewer lateral, three (3) concrete manholes, 98 feet of jack and bored 16-inch steel encasement pipe, and approximately 58 linear feet of manhole rehabilitation using a sprayed monolithic liner. Work includes trench excavation, trenchless excavation (jack and bore), sanitary sewer line, manhole, and appurtenances installation, trench backfilling, manhole and sewer pipe testing, driveway repair, site restoration, maintenance of traffic, construction layout staking and surveying, and installation and maintenance of erosion control measures. State of Ohio prevailing wage rates requirements are applicable to this Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either: a bond for the full amount of the bid; or a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Checks should be made payable to the Board of Clark County Commissioners. FAILURE TO SUBMIT A PROPER BOND WILL AUTOMATICALLY INVALIDATE THE BID. Successful bidder will be required to post an acceptable Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. If successful bidder fails to enter into a proper contract or defaults in any portion of his bid, the bid guarantee shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. Bid guaranties of unsuccessful bidders will be returned following award of bid. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction costs for the base bid and all alternates is $ 465,420.00. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 90 calendar days of receiving project Notice to Proceed and will be completed and ready for final payment within 120 calendar days of receiving project Notice to Proceed.
