PURPOSE Goochland County, Virginia is seeking quotes from qualified and licensed contractors to perform on-call services related to ground and lawn maintenance at provided locations. SCOPE OF WORK Provide crew(s) for general ground maintenance including but not limited to, grass cutting, weed eating, spraying for weeds, leaf removal, chainsaw use, and/or general lawn service maintenance. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, labor, materials, and supplies. If needed, the contractor shall perform the requested work within the week. Work may/may not be needed on a bi-weekly basis. During non-growing seasons, scheduling at the discretion of DPU staff. CONTRACT TERMS This Contract shall be for one (1) year with the option for up to four (4) additional one (1) year renewals for a total contract length not to exceed five (5) years. Total contract shall not exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) during all contract terms. Contractor shall provide and require all safety equipment for personnel to perform the work. The County reserves the right to add or delete locations as needed. Quotes shall not include travel to and from any site. The County does not pay for any travel expenses to and from the sites.
