Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Basin, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

There are two separate projects being bid at this time. The Water Services and Treatment Improvements Project includes replacement of approximately 120 water service lines from the water main to property boundaries, installation of meter pit assemblies and improvements to the existing water treatment building. The Measurement and Payment part of the appropriate governing specifications shall apply when work items are not specifically addressed in this Section. Otherwise, this section of the Project Manual supersedes the Method of Measurement and Basis of Payment as described elsewhere (With the exception of any issued Addenda).The total bid price for each item of the contract shall cover all work shown on the contract drawings and required by the specifications and other Contract Documents. All costs in connection with the work, including furnishing all materials, supplies, equipment, and appurtenances; providing all construction plant, equipment, and tools; and performing all necessary labor and supervision to fully complete the work, shall be included in the unit and lump sum prices bid. No item that is required by the Contract Documents for the proper and successful completion of the work will be paid for outside of or in addition to the prices submitted in the Bid. All work not specifically set forth as a pay item in the Bid Form shall be considered a subsidiary obligation of the Contractor and all costs in connection therewith shall be included in the prices bid.
