Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Novelty, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Geauga Park District, in partnership with Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is doing a Municipal Bridge Project to replace The West Woods bridge over the tributary to Silver Creek located south of Kinsman Road (SR-87) in Russell Township. The bridge was built in 1999 and is eroding in several places, causing structural deficiencies. Construction on this project is scheduled to start in the summer of 2024, and will end in the summer of 2025. Pedestrian access to the park and trails will be maintained throughout construction.
