The Project consists of structural truss repairs and reinforcement in the fire station apparatus bay. Removal of under roof insulation and re-installation spray foam and batt insulation in the apparatus bay and adjacent storage rooms. Removal and replacement of damaged exterior concrete slab on grade drive surface. Contract Scope: Construction and demolition under one Prime Contract. Owner shall occupy and opporate business during construction. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and alternates, if any with each Bid. The Bid security constitutes a pledge that the Bidder will execute the Contract with the Owner in the form provided, in a timely manner, and on the terms stated in the Bid and will furnish in a timely manner the payment and performance bonds, certificates of insurance, Contractor's Construction Schedule, and other documents required in the Contract Documents. The Bid security shall be in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check payable to the Owner or a Bid bond executed by a bonding company licensed in the State of Washington on a Public Works Bond or equivalent form The Owner reserves the right to change the schedule or terminate the entire procurement process at any time.
