The Town of Juno Beach will be receiving sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the Universe Boulevard Drainage Improvement Project, in Juno Beach. This project will replace approximately 2,000 LF of corrugated metal pipe (CMP) with high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and all related catch basins and/or manholes as indicated on the engineering plans designed by Simmons & White Engineering. Additional elements of this project include but are not limited to replacing the 5' sidewalk with a new 8' sidewalk on the north side of the roadway, replacing curbing, lining the six (6) connecting lateral pipes with PVC, coordinate with FPL the relocation/replacement of streetlights and saw cutting, removing and replacing pavement as indicated on the plans. Additional coordination with utility companies may be required. Proper care and caution will be critical throughout the construction process as this area has underground utilities such as fiber optics and a water main that runs the length of this project and serves residential customers and an assisted living facility. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidder's total price indicated in the Bid form. The Town of Juno Beach reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to re-advertise. The award, if made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Proposer as determined solely by the Town.
