The intent of this contract is to ensure a high level of janitorial services. Performance and the quality of work will be first class in hygiene and cleanliness. All areas serviced by this contract will be inspected routinely by the Director of Public Works or his/her designated representative(s). These inspections will be for the purpose of assessing the contractor's performance. Work is to be performed during the normal operating hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, unless otherwise noted or mutually agreed upon. The contractor will not be allowed to subcontract work under this contract unless written approval is granted by the Town Manager. The Town of Juno Beach will receive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide Janitorial Services. The term of service shall be for a period of one (1) year. The Parties may extend the service period for one (1) additional one (1) year terms, with mutual consent. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the schedule closing date for the receipt of proposals except as otherwise provided in the Instructions to Proposers and Terms and Conditions. The Town of Juno Beach reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to re-advertise. The award, if made, will be made to the most responsive Proposer whose proposal is determined by the Town, in its sole discretion, to be most advantageous.
