The work generally consists of site demolition, new public counter and associated cabinetry, storage cabinetry, carpet installation, existing storefront modifications/restoration, electrical/data/telephone modifications, drywall finishing/painting and miscellaneous related improvements required by the contract documents. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a bid proposal form furnished by the City. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified cashier's check, or a bidder's bond made payable to the City of Lakewood for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) The contractor and subcontractors shall, at the time of bidding and award of contract, be licensed in accordance with the laws of the State of California for the type of work to be performed.
