Township of Severn (Severn) intends to complete improvements to the public water access facilities at Severn Falls and at MacLean Lake to address public safety and maintenance requirements. At Severn Falls, the work generally involves the removal and reconstruction of the existing dock shore wall, including temporary coffer dam system, dewatering, minor dredging, excavation, precast concrete interlocking blocks, concrete coping, wood bumper, precast trench drain inlet structure, permeable interlocking concrete pavers, concrete sidewalk, asphalt paving and reinstatement of public realm amenities. At MacLean Lake, the work generally involves the removal and reconstruction of the dock approach, including temporary coffer dam system, dewatering, excavation, armour stone, reinforced concrete leveling slab, wood decking system and AODA pedestrian ramp. Severn is looking for a qualified dock and shore wall marine Contractor who has the capability, equipment, resources, and experience to complete the rehabilitation of both the Severn Falls dock shore wall and MacLean Lake dock approach site locations by November 30, 2023.
