Site work and paving for a civil project in Coldwater, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The Work is the removal and replacement of Culvert C27 located on Dunns Line, approximately 100 m north of Highway 12 in the Township of Oro-Medonte and includes the following: - Removal of an existing 950 mm diameter, CSP culvert and installation of new 1.5 m diameter HDPE pipe culvert. - Construction of concrete cutoff wall and headwall with Dywidag tiebacks, and installation of retaining wall along outlet. - Management of the watercourse during construction to allow the Work to be completed in the dry. - Approximately 60 m of roadworks, including asphalt removal, excavation, granular placement, and regrading of the roadside embankment to achieve a stable embankment. - Installation of roadside protection. - Restoration of the site upon completion of the Work. - Removal of bridge deck superstructure of Bridge 11 on Old Coldwater Road.
