Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Wanchese, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The 30,000 SF building located on Lot 710 of the Wanchese Marine Industrial Park will be divided to allow two boat manufacturers to utilize the space - thus increasing the number of projected FTEs in the building. Structural renovations are needed including the construction of an 80' x 30' separation fire wall to meet fire suppression regulatory compliance. Two existing 25' wide industrial cannister doors will be repaired and relocated to side perimeter walls to allow better boat and employee egress and provide natural ventilation for the workspace. In place of the relocated industrial cannister doors, a larger endwall door system will be installed offering better egress for larger vessels and to allow boat moving equipment access to the inside of the building. Finally, additional restroom facilities will be added in the building to accommodate the partitioning of the building and the projected increase in the number of FTEs.
