Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 7.02 Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents as deemed advisable by Owner or Engineer. The intent and meaning of the Contract Documents require that the Contractor, under the terms of his contract, shall take such action as necessary and required to provide labor, plant, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, and appurtenances thereto, which are indicated or reasonably implied by each Drawing and each section of the Specifications, all of which are collectively necessary and required for the execution of the Work. B. Description of Work at Property as shown on the plans: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and supervision to perform services described in Contract Documents to complete the following work: 1. Piping from existing drying beds to new drying beds as shown on the drawings. 2. Construction of new sludge drying beds as shown in the drawings 3. Install weather protection as shown in the drawings. 4. Install drying bed media/panels as per drawings and manufacturer's manual. 5. Testing and inspection 6. Piping from drying beds to existing drain lift stations as per drawings Batch quantities of sludge, mixed with polyelectrolyte (polymer), are directed over the drying beds. Immediate separation of water drains through the filter bed media. Dried sludge is collected off the media.
