Renovation of a museum in Montross, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,600-square-foot museum.
Sealed bids are invited for Westmoreland County Museum roof replacement for Westmoreland County, Montross, Virginia. Project includes removal of +/- 2,600 SF of existing slate roof, deck replacement (as needed), new full coverage of ice/water shield, new copper flashings, new copper gutters & downspouts and new composite (non- cementitious) simulated slate for a complete and water tight roofing system. A Bid Bond and Contract Security will be required of all bidders regardless of amount. Contract award will be based on the Bid Amounts as the Owner in its discretion decides to award. The Owner has the right to accept bid in part or whole and the right to reject all bids when in the best interest of the County. The drawings & specifications will be e-mailed as requested. The Architect/Engineers office is the only point where contract information will be disseminated.
