Work associated with the purchase, installation, and annual maintenance program for approximately 350 water meters to replace the existing metering system for Montross, Va. The Town is requesting bids for an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for the base bid with an optional bid request for an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Town of Montross in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. Each Bidder is required to submit an experience and equipment list with their bid. Town of Montross hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the bid opening.
