As of November 28,2023, project was awarded to POMONA PIPE PRODUCTS, awarded amount is $121,937.80. The purpose of the Invitation for Bids is to obtain pricing from vendors to furnish, deliver, & assembly of Aluminum Structural Plate Pipe arch with Headwalls for Buncombe Bridge Maintenance. This pipe order is needed to replace existing pipe with 63' of 10' x 9" span x 6' x 10" rise aluminum structural plate pipe arch with aluminum headwalls for Buncombe County. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract (one-time purchase) Submit Written Questions Vendor October 19, 2023 Provide Responses to Questions State October 20, 2023 Direct all inquiries concerning this IFB to: Desmond McCleese Procurement Specialist II Email: dmccleese@ncdot.gov Phone: 919-707-2629 Vendor shall have at least two (2) years of experience in the installation of this type of structure. Vendor to assemble structure and headwalls as well as being on site for a minimum of two days to assist with backfilling of structure and headwalls through completion to provide any additional advice or instructions as needed. A vendor's representative is not to be considered a contractor and NCDOT will not be liable for any labor he/she may provide. NCDOT will provide vendor 24 hours' notice of installation to allow vendor time to have a person on site.
