Renovation of a medical facility in Grand Island, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This contract calls for the maintenance of the equipment as described below. This construction sow will outline materials and labor to remove and install new loading dock levelers, New insulated and power lift doors. The contractor shall furnish necessary labor, tools, equipment, and transportation to provide repair and replacement services for loading dock levelers and dock garage bay doors at the Grand Island Medical Centers of the Department of Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. This scope of work will replace the old uninsulated doors with insulated ones for better heat retention. Replacement of the old levelers which are in extremely poor shape and should be considered unsafe due to the number of broken welds and broken anchors. This will ensure a safe loading dock area for the Grand Island VA. Below is a breakdown of the estimated materials and trades that will be needed on the project and a brief scope of the work involved. Below is an outline of the contractual performance requirements the contractor is required to deliver to the VA. a) Department of Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Grand Island Division Medical Center, 2201 N Broadwell Ave, Grand Island, NE 68803 3) PERFORMANCE PERIOD: a) 01-FEB-2023 to 30-APR-2023 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
