Renovation of a library in Anderson, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Anderson School District Five would like to contract with a vendor to replace the pine paneling with sheetrock in Westside High's library. See specifications below for details. The successful contractor shall assume all responsibilities associated with this contract including but not limited to all labor fees, federal, state, city or town required business license(s), permits, insurance, fuel, supplies and any other expenses required to carry out the requirement of this solicitation. The successful contractor shall be properly licensed (Section 40-11-30) and must have at least five (5) years of documented experience. Location: Westside High 2. Remove paneling in library and replace with sheet rock. This includes removing bookshelves from walls in order to remove paneling then reinstalling bookshelves after the project is completed. The school district will remove all books from shelves. 3. Response must include all materials, equipment and labor needed to finish the drywall (mud, tape, lifts, etc.). 4. Prime and Paint the new drywall. Color to be determined. 5. Contractor is responsible for hauling off all excess material 6. All meetings require a prior notice of 24 business hours. 7. Mandatory Site visit scheduled for May 3, 2023 at 9:30 am (see page 1) 8. Before leaving each day, site must be cleaned up and all trash/debris disposed of off-site. 9. All debris will be removed and all areas cleaned to original status before final payments are submitted 10. No tobacco products of any kind are allowed on school grounds 24/7/365 11.
