Demolition and site work for a residential development in Wilmington, North Carolina. Working plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
As of May 10, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will provide your firm with sufficient information to enable you to prepare and submit a proposal for the demolition of all structures and improvements located at 1536 South Front Street in Wilmington, North Carolina. The City of Wilmington is requesting proposals for the demolition of all structures, improvements, and other miscellaneous debris which can be found on site. Improvements consist of two (2) buildings totaling 10,702 gross square feet. The structures were built between 1954 and 1957. 1536 S Front Street (PARID: R0405417-015-002-000 & R05417-015-004-000) is 0.74 acres in aggregate and is zoned General Industrial. The land is located within a FEMA flood hazard zone. DO NOT REMOVE OR DESTROY ANY MATURE TREES. EROSION CONTROLS AND SECURITY MEASURES MUST BE TAKEN DURING DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES. Remove all structures, improvements, any temporary structures, miscellaneous debris located on-site, impervious surfaces such as foundations and concrete driveways located within the property. Remove any and all demolition rubbish. Remove all overgrowth and cuttings, bushes and brush, trash and debris and any other items. Grade, level and rake out stones/rocks larger than 2" and root matter before applying seed and straw application in disturbed areas Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package and clearly marked: RFP NO.
