Estimated Cost $2,800,000 Questions posed verbally by Respondents at the Pre-Submission Meeting must also be submitted in writing to the Procurement Office by email to amaclean@town.pepperell.ma.us by 1 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 The Town of Pepperell is interested in reviewing proposals for a community solar plus energy storage system at the Pepperell Landfill (66 Boynton Street, Pepperell, MA 01463) through third-party ownership with a lease and PILOT agreement. The goal of this project is to provide revenue for the Town and subscribers as well as support the Town's leadership in greenhouse gas emission reduction established as part of its Green Community designation. The Pepperell Landfill is in National Grid's service territory, WCMA load-zone, with nearby electricity usage for the transfer station at about 10,000 kWh per year through National Grid's General Service - Small C/I G-1 rate class. The Cadmus Group created a preliminary solar photovoltaic (PV) array design for the Pepperell Landfill in 2022, which is pictured below. The design illustrates a potential PV configuration based on publicly available satellite images and additional information provided by the Town. The estimated system capacity and annual electricity production of the potential project modeled are included in the table below.
