Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The Project generally consists of major renovation of Aeration Basin (A/N Tank) 1A, 1B, 1C, & 1D, and includes demolition, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls upgrades for diffuser replacement in the Basins. Seismic retrofitting of the Basin is included as an alternative (optional) bid item. The District, at its discretion, may add additional construction activities after award of the Construction Contract. Project Duration 850 Calendar Days The estimated cost for this work is: $18,200,000. 1.The District Board of Directors reserves the right to award the Contract, to reject any or all Bids, to waive non-material and inconsequential irregularities in any Bid, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, non-responsible, or conditional Bids. 02 No Bid received and read aloud may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, except pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 5101.
