Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Castle Rock, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000404424 The scope of work will include: 1. Provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, insurance, and other incidentals to construct a ColoradoScape demonstration garden per the provided design and specifications. 2. Installation of extensive landscaping and irrigation per specifications. 3. Installation of water tap with two meters, a 1-inch for garden irrigation and an 1.5-inche that will be capped. 4. Installation of parking lot with concrete handicap stalls and sidewalk and a permeable pavement comprised of millings or similar recycled materials. 5. Installation of a pre-fab shade structure on concrete slab per specifications. The open-air structure will include lighting and electrical. 6. Coordination of geotechnical engineering study, if needed for signage and shade structure permitting and construction 7. Lighting and electrical to shade structure. 8. Stormwater infrastructure per project drawings and specifications. 9. Procurement and installation of amenities including benches, picnic tables and bike rack. 10. Procurement and installation of monument signage. 11. Additionally, a. Manage all construction activities while constructing the designed improvements. b. Provide public notification, traffic control and erosion control as required to complete the work. c. Coordinate all deliveries to minimize disturbance to surrounding residents. d. Create a safe and secure work environment for both the public as well as the individuals working on-site. e. Organize and manage the weekly Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) meetings. f. Coordinate all work as to create a flow and most efficient way for productivity. g. Obtain all necessary permitting including, but not limited to State Stormwater Discharge and Dewatering Permits, right-of-way, construction, building, TESC, and/or access permits with the Town. h. Field verify actual field conditions prior to construction. The build of the Colorado Scape Demonstration Garden located at 1595 Aloha St. with the purpose of providing visitors with examples of beauty of low-water landscapes with a variety of design styles and landscape materials. The Property is owned by The Town of Castle Rock and on the site of a proposed park. The Project includes the building of extensive landscaping and irrigation, as well as a parking lot, electrical, detention pond/stormwater, concrete work, various hardscapes, and a pavilion structure. The Town anticipates a Notice of Award on or around December 16, 2025. The contractor shall commence work no later than ten (10) calendar days from, and including, the date of the Notice to Proceed. Once work has commenced the Contractor shall complete work and should not leave the project. Work shall be substantially complete by September 30, 2026. Clearly mark your Bid Envelope showing the Project Name, the Bid Opening date and YOUR COMPANY NAME. In the Case of No Bid, please return your Bidding Documents indicating No Bid on the form and on the outside of the return envelope. If any information/material is to accompany the Bid, please attach it to the Bid Forms. If a representative from your company is not present and does not sign the pre-bid conference sign in sheet that company will not be allowed to bid on the project. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Question Acceptance Deadline 12/01/2025 07:00 PM EST A Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to 5% of the total Bid amount is required at the time of the Bid Opening. The Guarantee must be a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder. If awarded the project, a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond and Warranty Bond are required within ten (10) days of the date the written Notice of Award, each for the total amount of the Contract Price. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for opening the Bids. The Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid; reject any Bid, in whole or in part; to adjust the quantity of Work to be done as mandated by budgetary requirements; and to waive informalities or irregularities in the Bids received; when it is in the Town's best interest to do so.
