Work under this Contract is to be carried on assets owned by the Government of Nunavut (GN) in the communities of Gjoa Haven, Taloyoak, Kugaaruk, Kugluktuk and Camridge Bay in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut Territory, and includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: Annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) Inspections and the complete servicing of Wet Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps, Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Hose Cabinets (Schedule 1) and Fire Extinguisher Inspections. As and when required maintenance, adjustments, repairs, refurbishment or replacement of any system components not part of Annual PM Inspections, authorized by work order and subject to the Hourly Rates set out in the Unit Pricing Table. It is estimated that additional work will be limited to 100 hours each for the Journeyman tradesperson and a Trades Helper. The Contractor must provide the RFM with a travel schedule for Annual PMs for each community one week after contact award. The Contractor is also responsible to update the RFM on any schedule changes due to weather. The Contractor shall coordinate all work, including additional As & When work, with the RFM. The Contractor shall complete all Annual PM Inspections in accordance the MMS Standard PM Checklists provided by the IFM (a sample is attached as Schedule 1). All Inspections shall be done during normal working hours (08:00 to 17:00 hours: Monday to Friday) unless another time is agreed upon by the Contractor and the RFM. The Contractor shall maintain a log on site in which they shall record all work carried out. The log shall be available for inspection by a CGS representative as required and must be delivered to the RFM on request. All assets requiring Annual PM Inspections and potential As & When additional services are listed in the Unit Pricing Breakdown Table – Schedule 2. The Contractor shall verify the systems for each location and complete Annual PMs and work orders in accordance with the applicable MMS performance standard.
