The Township of North Frontenac requires quotations for the North Frontenac Parklands Campsites Tree Clean-Up (specifications outlined in Schedule "A" to this RFQ). The attached specifications are a guide and any differences to those specifications must be indicated on the form. Failure to meet all specifications as set out in Schedule "A" will not invalidate a Quotation, however, preference will be granted to Quotations that are best able to achieve the specifications and timeline as stated. A certified cheque, bank draft, irrevocable letter of credit, money order and where appropriate, a Bid Bond issued by an approved guarantee company properly licensed in the province of Ontario, on bond forms acceptable to the Township, shall be submitted as deposit.Cheques and Bid Bonds shall be made Payable to the Township of North Frontenac, for deposit purposes. The proceeds of this security shall, upon acceptance of the Quotation, constitute a deposit which shall be forfeited to the Municipality, if the successful Contractor/Firm fails to complete the Contract with the Township of North Frontenac. An Ontario Performance Bond (Form 32) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract to guarantee the performance of the contract; and An Ontario Labour and Material Bond (Form 31) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) to guarantee the payment for labour and materials to be supplied in connection with the contract. Lowest or any Quotation Submission may not necessarily be accepted. The Township reserves the right to cancel the Request for Quotation at any time up to the notification of Award. The Township will not be liable for any payments to subcontractors.
