This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a construction contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision for the project titled "Renovate 3rd floor pharmacy" at James J. Peters, Bronx VA Medical Center in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical etc. Project Number is 526-21-112. Competition for this procurement is restricted to SERVICE DISABLED VERTERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Estimated construction cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000.00. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 236220, size standard: $39.5 million. The offeror shall obtain any and all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of New York. Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and must be registered at http://www.sam.gov in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. Solicitation will be posted on/about October 30, 2020. A walk-through will be held on or about one week after the posting of the solicitation. These dates are estimates. This is a SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This project is to renovate the third floor pharmacy at the Bronx VA Medical Center located at 130W. Kingsbridge Road Bronx, NY 10468. The contractor shall furnish all materials, supplies, equipment, personnel and supervision to accomplish project # 526-21-112, renovate third floor pharmacy IAW the statement of work, specifications, drawings and installation instructions attached hereto. The contractor will be responsible to coordinate and schedule work and shall be expected to plan work typically during duty hours of 8am and 4:30pm except as noted in the general conditions and as approved by the Contracting Officer.
