It is our goal to improve energy efficiency while enhancing the durability and performance of the building envelope. Pre-Construction - Collaborating with Architectural team regarding window types, HVAC components, and instillation specifics as it pertains to permitting process. - Planning and scheduling of window work that doesn't displace residents and minimal interruption to operations - Determining if mini-splits are a sustainable option for unitized coolin Construction - Remove and repair wood window framing - Install energy efficient windows - Windows installed in systematic way to not displace residents - Installation of Mini-split cooling (with architectural support we will need to asses if mini-splits is achievable with current building conditions if not PTHP units will be installed and will affect window type) Biltmore Hotel, 310 NW 6th Ave. Portland, OR 97209 Scope of work - Protect to ensure that the roof is not damaged throughout the project - Remove deteriorated mortar joints in both lightwells - Clean the masonry to remove the dust from the removal process and prep for new mortar installation - Install new mortar in the joints that were removed and prepped - Clean the new mortar after the mortar has properly cured - Apply two coats of elastomeric coating to the walls that are painted at this time - Apply Chemtrete 40 VOC to all the masonry in both lightwells
