Opportunity ID:167717 The proposed contract requires fuel management prescriptions and layout of multiple areas on Crown Land located in the Rocky Mountain Natural Resource District. The purpose of the prescriptions is to identify areas within Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Risk Class 1 & 2 polygons, with high fuel loads that could carry a crown fire into residential areas within communities in the Rocky Mountain Natural Resource District. The layout portion of the contract identifies, with ribboned boundaries, the areas that require the various prescribed treatments to reduce the fuel loads and decrease the likelihood of fires entering urban areas. Overview of work includes Fuel Management Prescriptions and Field Layout - Reconnaissance, Block and Road layout (including skid patterns/wood flow), Traversing, Stand and Stock Tables including surface fuel loading calculations, Fuel Management Plans, Professional Assessments (fish stream, VIA, terrain, wildlife) and associated office work and mapping.
