PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of preparation of the PS&E for the following (3) three bridge's deck repairs located within Skagit County: o Cascade River Bridge (Br. No. 40071, Structure ID 08213600): The bridge is located on Rockport Cascade Road at MP 0.04 and is 32-ft wide by 180-ft long three span bridge, built in 1967. o Pressentin Creek Bridge (Br. No. 40088, Structure ID 08165500): The bridge is located on South Skagit Highway at MP 19.86 and is 30-ft wide by 85-ft long three span bridge, built in 1966. o Samish River Bridge (Br. No. 40013, Structure ID 08009600): The bridge is located on F&S Grade Road at MP 0.14 and is 28-ft wide by 102-ft long single span bridge, built in 1974. The work to be performed by the Consultant may include but is not limited to preparing the PS&E contract documents for three (3) bridge deck resurfacing and related maintenance projects including, preparing design plans, preparation of project specifications complying with local, state, and federal requirements, preparing the estimates of construction costs (PS&E), topographic survey, temporary traffic control/detour plans, and environmental permitting. This assignment may be extended as multiphase agreement to include pre-bid support and construction services such as: submittal reviews, RFIs, change orders, inspections, contract close out, and other design or construction-related tasks as determined by the County.
