No bidwill be considered unlessaccompanied by a suretycompany bid bond, or acertified or cashiers checkpayable to the order of Skagit County for a sum not less than five percent(5%) of the total amount of the bid. A Contract Bondcovering performance and payment will be required with the contract. Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates and Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract and bidders are advised to consider this charge when tabulating bids. The higherrate applicable categoryshall be paid. Skagit County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and the right towaive any informalities orirregularities in any bid orin any bidding and to further award the Project to the lowest, responsive,responsible bidder whosebid complies with all theprescribed formalities, asit best serves the interestof Skagit County. After thedate and hour set for the opening of bids, no bidder may withdraw its bid unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding forty-five (45) calendar days following bid opening. All bidders agree to be bound by their bids until the expiration of this stated time period. The Board of Skagit County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Engineer's Estimate Range is $796,000 - $880,000.
